Objective

  • To produce competent pianists through a well-rounded curriculum including sight-reading, rhythmic and metronome skills, music theory, ear training, and technical skills necessary for a fluid and elegant style.

  • To understand each student’s learning style and prior musical knowledge and create a program of music that will not only accomplish educational goals, but will also be rewarding and fun.

  • To give students knowledge of the great tradition of classical music, the master composers and the styles that emerged from the historical periods.
